Canvas Learning Management System

Building science demonstrates how various systems within a building interact to affect the overall performance. Understanding the relationships between the building envelope, heating, A/C, insulation, mechanical ventilation, lighting, appliances and other systems of the building will enable you to assist yourself and others. Learn how these systems affect the comfort, health, and safety of occupants and the durability of the building. Discover why improving energy efficiency in every built environment should be the first step before engaging with solar, geothermal, or other renewable energy improvements.
